Girls Events

My name is Hinda, I am the chairperson of Girls Events Decorations which is newly multi task startup. I have started Girls Events and Decorations with four of my close friends after realizing the need for female photographers and video producers. These challenges face many women who are too shy to hire a male professional, because in this profession many men who do this line of work do not possess the required ethical skills. We have conducted a feasibility study talking to many women in our target audience to ensure the market needs. Responding to this market needs, we have developed Girls Events and Decorations business that aims to serve particular women who mainly require these services. I am the chairperson of Girls events and decoration, we consist of five girls who all graduated Hargabits of Shaqodoon with different professions. Our team is dedicated to meet market needs, providing 5 different services are on demand, Photography, Cake making Video production, decorations and Make up.  We come up Girls Event and decoration business idea after we participated entrepreneurship training at shaqodoon and we won $2500 Grant to start our own business. During the entrepreneurship training we leaned how we can create our own business, we drafted business plan and get a lot of experience. This has inspired us to come together and start our own business to solve girls events problems at the same time creating jobs for us and for our peers.  The biggest challenge we are facing is gaining sufficient market share to develop the business, in order to achieve this we are fun raising $750 to do business development activities such as marketing and a to establish a working space. If we raise the $750 and the $2500 grant from Shaqodoon, our business will grow and attract many women events.
