My name Hafsa Mohamed I have a robust experience in the industry of tailoring and fashion, for many years, I have struggled finding the appropriate designs, clothing, and the services required by a tailor especially for women. That is when I decided to start a tailoring business myself as part of my efforts to solve the problem stated, I strived to provide custom made designs for my niche target market committing myself to building a tailor and a physical store. In addition to my experience in the industry I also have a pretty good academic qualification to match the experience acquired which has placed me among the top fashion designers. I currently make a unique and attractive designs and outsource them to tailors for tailoring. Firstly, I make sample of my fashion designs and my close friends suddenly collected all of them which gave me huge encouragement. My unique designs and quality fabrics together will give me significant competitive advantage over my competitors. I will primarily focus on designing and tailoring quality and customized designs of hijab and Abayas that are used by almost all women in whole Somalia of different ages and income levels. My products are highly in demand and profitable, but it is small quantities due to limited capital and lack of sewing machines. Then I have get the chance to meet Shaqodoon who gave me the encouragement to start my startup business and after developing business plan and Pitched my business idea, hope to raise $2000 to fund the physical startup and to establish a tailoring department. Am ready to contribute another $600, so the business value will be $2600 and the startup business will immediately create at least three jobs.
