SOGI food composite was established as a young emerging entrepreneur, Mr. Abdifatah Jamal. He began with a small milling machine and a few raw maize. The idea came into existing after his observation in the market that there were very few milling and grains companies in the market and was providing far less than wanted. The company first produced only one product Budo which is a kind of milled maize. The following month, the company started to produce three more products, Mooshaali, Basho and Shuuro which are also crushed maize and blended differently usually some of them come as a fine ingredient for Somali Injera. In the mid of this year, the company realized the great demand for such products in the market due to fast stock running out. It is time to double the production, however, we have a small milling machine that doesn’t produce the number of products needed in the market.
