Deeqa Sweets Centre

Deeqa Sweets Centre I plan to establish a sweets production center in Hargeisa that will manufacture a diverse range of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, cookies, and other confections. Currently, there are limited options for consumers to access locally-produced, artisanal sweets. By setting up a centralised production facility, I aim to fulfill this market gap and become a premier supplier of Somali-made confections. Deeqa Sweets Centre will create both traditional Somali sweets as well as popular international-style baked goods. I will work with experienced local bakers and confectioners to develop unique recipes that blend Somali flavours and techniques with global trends. Raw ingredients, such as flour, sugar, butter, and spices, will be sourced from trusted local and regional suppliers to ensure quality and traceability. To bring our vision to life and transform our business idea into reality, we are launching a crowdfunding campaign on the Tarmiye platform. Our aim is to raise $1,000 to secure a matching fund from SOS Children’s Village. Every dollar count, and your support will be instrumental in covering essential acquiring necessary equipment, and establishing our business. Dear friends and families, your support will help us turn our passion for digital services into action, benefiting small businesses and driving their growth.
